Congratulations to our Middle School Team who qualified for the State Science Olympiad Tournament in April. They'll be competing with the top public and private schools in Texas. Good luck kids & GO NASA!
Do you have a homeschooled teenager or middle-schooler looking for an opportunity to make friends & enjoy an academically rewarding group activity? Whether your student is STEM-focused, science-curious,
or just enjoys socializing & learning with welcoming, open-minded peers,
we’d love to show you what NASA’s about.
North Austin Science Alliance, or NASA, is a homeschool science team for both middle school and high school students.
Our main concentration is Science Olympiad participation.
Science Olympiad is an international non-profit organization with a mission of improving science education. Competitions consist of events across all disciplines: biology, life, & social sciences, earth & space sciences, physics, chemistry, technology & engineering design, and inquiry & nature of science.
At NASA, our focus is three-fold. We provide an environment for science-loving middle- and high schoolers to meet others with like interests. We encourage students to develop and improve their study skills, time management, collaboration, team work, and sportsmanship. And, we offer motivated homeschooled students the opportunity to dive deeply into science subjects and compete at the highest academic levels with their public- and private-school peers.
The future of science really does start with NASA; we're inspiring these kids, one bright mind at a time.
